Semper Fi coach Moses Adjin-Tettey praised his team’s resilience and tactical discipline after guiding them to a 2-1 win over Great Olympics at the Teshie McDan Sports Complex on Saturday.
Ebenezer Kobia scored both goals for Semper Fi, while Samuel Boakye converted a late penalty for Great Olympics. Despite the close scoreline, Adjin-Tettey described the performance as a result of careful planning and hard work.
“It was a tough game. Playing teams like Great Olympics, traditional clubs, is not easy. You could see it was a physical game from the onset, but it was also a tactical game,” the coach said.
He expressed confidence heading into their next fixture, adding that Semper Fi expect to continue their winning run against Home Stars on Sunday.
The win marked Semper Fi’s third consecutive victory in all competitions and lifted them to second place in Zone Three, underlining the positive impact of Adjin-Tettey’s leadership.
