Ghana’s U-15 Girls’ national team will assemble in Hohoe to intensify preparations for the 2025 WAFU B African Schools Football Championship, scheduled for November 29 to December 4, 2025, in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso.
A 37-player provisional squad has been invited to camp in the Volta Region, where the team will undergo rigorous training sessions and team-building exercises as part of their bid to defend their title.
The young Ghanaian side will head into the tournament as reigning champions, having lifted both the WAFU B African Schools Football Championship trophy in Niger and the CAF African Schools Football Championship title on home soil in Accra last year.
Expectations are high as the team aims to replicate its remarkable achievements and reaffirm Ghana’s growing dominance in youth football across the sub-region. The technical team is expected to focus on tactical refinement, physical conditioning, and squad cohesion to ensure the players are fully prepared for the task ahead.
The CAF African Schools Football Championship is part of CAF’s broader initiative to promote grassroots football development across the continent, providing young players with a vital platform to showcase their potential and gain international exposure.
With a proven track record and a solid preparation plan in place, Ghana’s U-15 Girls are poised to mount a strong title defence and continue flying the national flag high in West African youth football.
