Hearts of Oak coach Didi Dramani has expressed his displeasure about the penalty decision in the Super Clash, leading to his outfit defeat against Asante Kotoko.
The Phobians succumbed to a narrow defeat to the Porcupine Warriors in matchday 9 of the Ghana Premier League clash held at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.
The Kumasi-based outfit scored from the spot through Morifing Donzo to amass the three maximum points at stake.
“It was so easy even though we could have defended better. We’ve trained to be bold, courageous and to deal with players in wider area rather than tracking back into our own area” he said after the game.
The defeat means Hearts of Oak are yet to record a win against Asante Kotoko in the past five Ghana Premier League matches, with their last win coming in 2023.
Meanwhile, Kotoko are unbeaten in their first six matches in the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season.
With three outstanding matches, the Reds are well on course as far as challenging for the league title is concerned.
Hearts of Oak, on the other hand, are fifth on the Premier League standings with 16 points after nine matches.
