Vestri Knattspyrna has officially appointed English-Ghanaian Daniel Osafo-Badu as head coach of the men’s championship league side.
The club’s board of the West Champions League Council expressed confidence in Daniel’s abilities and is eager to introduce him to the supporters, noting that he has fully embraced life as a Westfjordsman.
Daniel, 38, holds a UEFA A coaching license and a degree in Sport Science.
He previously served as assistant coach under Davi Vars Smari at Vestri during the 2023 and 2024 seasons and has played over 200 matches for the club.
The management is optimistic that Daniel’s experience as both player and coach will bring stability and fresh energy to the team.
