Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Mohammed Camara has been invited for Guinea’s upcoming friendly matches against Togo and Niger in the November international break.
The national team call-up of the imposing shot-stopper has been confirmed by the Ghana Premier League giants in an official statement.
“Goalkeeper Mohammed Camara has earned a call-up to the Guinean National Team ahead of their upcoming international friendlies against Togo and Niger in Casablanca, Morocco, during the FIFA International break.
“Camara’s invitation comes as no surprise following his impressive performances since joining the Porcupine Warriors,” the Kumasi-based club said in the statement.
Camara has been in fine form for Asante Kotoko in the past year, playing a pivotal role in Kotoko’s recent successes, including their FA Cup triumph, the Champion of Champions title, and the Toyota Cup victory in South Africa, where he produced outstanding saves during the tense penalty shootout.
According to the statement from Kotoko, Mohammed Camara is expected to leave Ghana after the Super Clash against rivals Accra Hearts of Oak on Sunday, November 9, 2025, to join his national teammates in camp.
