Semper Fi coach Moses Adjin-Tettey has expressed his delight following his side’s impressive 2-0 home win over Golden Warriors in the Access Bank Division One League last Saturday.
The victory, their first at home this season in the league, came on the back of a strong all-round display at the McDan Sports Complex in Teshie. It also marked consecutive wins for the team after progressing past New Town FC in the MTN FA Cup.
Adjin-Tettey praised his players for showing the right mentality and determination, especially after a mixed start to the campaign.
"I’m proud of the boys. I could see a lot of aggression and intensity; they wanted the win," he said. "We had played four games with only one win, two draws and a defeat, which wasn’t impressive. Their body language showed they were ready, and they proved it."
The coach also credited his side’s tactical discipline and composure for securing the clean sheet, describing the result as a statement performance.
The victory lifts Semper Fi into the top four as they continue their push for promotion.
