Communications Director of Hearts of Oak, Kwame Opare Addo has sent a strong warning to Asante Kotoko ahead of the crucial Ghana Premier League clash.
In a highly competitive clash on Sunday, the Phobians will play host to the Porcupine Warriors at the Accra Sports Stadium in matchday 9 of the domestic top-flight, with both teams yearning for the maximum points to secure the bragging right.
Both teams are unbeaten in the current league campaign, but Kotoko can boast of their recent dominance in the Super Clash.
Despite admitting a tough Kotoko test, Opare Addo insists the side will make a strong statement on Sunday.
"This Super Clash in Accra won’t be easy for Asante Kotoko. Accra Hearts of Oak is ready to make a strong statement at home.
November, being the birth month of Accra Hearts of Oak, will have great significance in the upcoming Super Clash," he told Asempa FM.
Hearts of Oak are current third on the Ghana Premier League standings with 16 points, whiles Kotoko occupies eight spot with 11 points, but are three matches behind them due to their participation in the CAF confederation Cup.
