Tyron Owusu played a key role in FC Luzern’s stunning 6â0 win over Grasshopper in the Swiss Super League, providing a fine assist that delighted home fans at the swissporarena.
The Swiss-Ghanaian midfielder, who started and lasted 77 minutes, set up Adrian Grbic for Luzern’s fifth goal with a sharp counterattack, slipping a clever pass into the striker’s path for an easy finish. His intelligent movement and quick decision-making helped Luzern control the midfield and push forward with purpose.
Matteo Di Giusto opened the scoring from the spot in the 18th minute before adding his second in the 66th. Adrian Bajrami’s header made it 2â0, and Julian von Moos curled in a brilliant free kick to extend the lead before halftime. Grbic and Kevin Spadanuda completed the rout with goals in the 71st and 73rd minutes.
Luzern dominated from start to finish, creating five big chances and maintaining attacking pressure throughout. The win lifts them confidently into their next league clash against FC Zürich on November 8.
