Asante Kotoko midfielder Seth Kwadwo has expressed his delight after helping his side secure a 4-2 victory over Karela United in the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.
Kwadwo produced a superb display, scoring a fine header and earning the Man of the Match award as Kotoko bounced back strongly from their CAF Confederation Cup exit to Wydad AC.
The midfielder’s energy and control in the middle of the park played a key role in guiding the Porcupine Warriors to an emphatic win that keeps their unbeaten league run intact.
Speaking after the match, Kwadwo said the result came at a perfect time as they prepare for the much-anticipated Super Clash against Hearts of Oak.
"It’s a massive win and it will boost our morale⦠this win will motivate us going into the Super Clash," he said.
Both Kotoko and Hearts of Oak remain unbeaten ahead of Sunday’s encounter, though Hearts have played three games more than the Kumasi-based giants.
