Ghanaian forward Kelvin Ofori continued his fine form for SK Slovan Bratislava as he found the back of the net in their impressive 3-1 comeback victory over FK Zeleziarne Podbrezova in the 13th round of the 2025-26 Nike League on Saturday.
Slovan had to rally from an early setback after conceding in the fifth minute, but Ofori played a decisive role in turning the tide for the reigning Slovak champions.
With the game level at 1-1, the 24-year-old Ghanaian combined brilliantly with veteran winger Robert Mak, who flicked the ball to him inside the box.
Ofori made no mistake, firing low under goalkeeper Juricka to give Slovan a 2-1 lead in the 39th minute - a goal that shifted full control to the visitors before Marcelli sealed the win with a stunning strike before halftime.
The goal takes Ofori’s tally to three goals in nine league appearances this season, adding to his two goals in six matches in the Slovnaft Cup.
His recent performances underline his growing influence under coach Vladimir Weiss Sr., as Slovan continue their pursuit of top spot in the Nike League.
Ofori will be hoping to extend his scoring run when Slovan travel to Finland to face KuPS Kuopio in the UEFA Conference League on Thursday evening.
