Asante Kotoko Greater Accra Circles Chairman, Nana Kwame Dankwa, has made a passionate appeal to supporters to show up in numbers and rally behind the team ahead of their crucial CAF Champions League clash with Wydad Athletic Club.
"The preparations have gone on very smoothly as a region what is expected of us has been done. What management also put in place director of communications, marketing, director of operations, administrator everybody in all areas we have made sure that what we have to do to support them we have done it," he told Peace FM as monitored by Ghanasoccernet.com
"When they came hospitality we have done it, promotion everything that we should do for us it is done what is left is the supporters too will be the number 12 person on the day at the stadium so that we advance to the next stage of the competition,"
Kotoko will play Wydad on Sunday, October 19, at the Accra Sports Stadium after CAF declined to approve the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.
Tickets for the highly anticipated match are priced at GHS 50 for the Popular Stand and Centre Line, and GHS 200 for VIP seats. Kotoko remain unbeaten this season after defeating Kwara United 5–3 on aggregate, but Wydad’s pedigree will be a major challenge.
