Semper Fi will travel to Tuba Astro Turf on Sunday to face Golden Kick in a crucial Access Bank Division One League Zone III clash, aiming to maintain their unbeaten start to the season.
Only one point separates the two sides after three matchdays.
The team was held to a goalless draw by Nania FC at the Teshie McDan Sports Complex last weekend. Despite dominating the game, Semper Fi struggled to convert their chances.
"Clearly, we dominated from the word go but couldn’t take our chances," head coach Moses Adjin-Tettey said. "The opponent was defensive, but we managed to find spaces; we just couldn’t convert, and that is something we have to work on. The strikers' failure to score is about precision. We have good, quality players, but today I’m disappointed."
Adjin-Tettey remains confident his side can bounce back in their next outing. "Our next game at Tuba is not going to be easy; it’s a wide pitch. We just have to be more precise, and we can win the game," he added.
Semper Fi will be looking to continue their unbeaten record on the road as they take on Golden Kick this weekend.
