Black Stars coach Otto Addo has targeted qualifying from the group stage ahead of teh 2026 World Cup.
Ghana will compete in next summer's tournament after finishing at the top of its group with 25 points after beating Comoros 1-0 in their final game at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Having led the team to exit at the group stage in Qatar in 2022, Addo is targeting going beyond the group stage.
“I want to overcome the group stage, but then, from there, it’s difficult to predict,” the 49-year-old told 3Sports.
“It’s very, very important that we believe in ourselves, we keep the flexibility which we already have, and the players understand what we want to do.
"This style of play for the long term will give us a lot of chances to go far in that World Cup," he added.
Ghana's best performance in the global showpiece came in 2010 when the Black Stars played in the quarterfinals in South Africa.
Having secured qualification for the tournament, which will be co-hosted in the USA, Canada and Mexico, the Black Stars will discover their group opponents on December 5.
