Ghanaian musician Shatta Wale has responded to Benjamin Asare's loyalty to the Shatta Movement by inviting the Black Stars number one to his 41st birthday.
The multiple award-winning dancehall superstar turns 41 on October 17 but will celebrate his newest milestone with a huge party at the Independence Square in Accra on Saturday, October 19.
"Very Urgent please! Good morning Shatta Movement Empire. Someone should help me contact Benjamin Asare, Ghana Black Stars Goalkeeper. Shatta Wale wants him to grace his birthday event on Saturday at the Independence Square," posted on social media by Shatta Wale's manager, Sammy Flex.
Asare is a huge fan of the Shatta Movement boss and uses any opportunity he gets to share his admiration for the musician.
According to Asare, he is inspired by the On God hitmaker's songs and often listens to him before games for Hearts of Oak and the Black Stars.
"I am a big fan of Shatta Wale and he inspires me a lot to keep clean sheet for the Black Stars," he said in a recent interview.
The 33-year-old has become a fans favourite with his performance for the Black Stars during the World Cup qualifiers.
He is expected to remain Ghana's first-choice goalkeeper ahead of the World Cup in North America next year.
