
Ghana international Daniel Kofi Kyereh is closing in on a return to action following a lengthy injury lay-off.
The Black Stars midfielder has been out of action for close to three years with an anterior cruciate ligament injury, undermining his promising football career.
After several months absence, Kofi Kyereh, who plies his trade for German Bundesliga outfit Freiburg is reportedly close to a return.
The former St Pauli star, who possesses several qualities as a midfielder is expected to gain full fitness by close of October, coming as a refreshing news for Kofi Kyereh, who has been out of action for about 32 months.
Despite the setbacks, the Ghana international remains optimistic and determined to get his career back on track.
Kyereh begun his Freiburg career on a good note, scoring two goals in 12 appearances before injuries plugged his progress at the club during the 2022/23 football campaign.
The midfielder’s impact extends beyond club football, as he was a significant player for the Ghanaian national team, the Black Stars, featuring prominently in the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) and the 2022 World Cup squad.
