Bechem United head coach Desmond-Issah Botchway has admitted that he is under immense pressure following the team’s four-game winless run in the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season.
The tactician expressed his frustration on Friday afternoon after the team drew goalless with Hearts of Oak in their Week 4 encounter.
Speaking in his post-match interview, Desmond-Issah Botchway noted that he is not bothered by the pressure and the mounting calls for his sacking.
“Of course, there is pressure because the fans are expecting more than they are seeing. Honestly, I see people calling for my head, but I don’t care. This is our trademark, but that’s not my problem. The problem is to get the ball at the back of the net,” the Bechem United coach said.
After the draw with Hearts of Oak, Bechem United have moved to 14th in the league standings, with two points from their first four matches of the season.
The team must now prepare for their Week 5 clash against Young Apostles on October 12.
