The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has announced the appointment of Yaw Kusi Gyamfi Awere as Chairman of the Beach Soccer League Committee.
Awere, who previously served on the Committee, is the current Director of Operations at the National Sports Authority (NSA). His background in sports administration and experience in coordinating major sporting events are expected to strengthen the growth and organisation of beach soccer in Ghana.
He will be supported by Solomon Torson, who retains his role as Vice Chairman. Torson, Deputy General Secretary of the Professional Footballers Association of Ghana (PFAG), brings expertise in player welfare and football development.
Other members include Nana Poku Amankwah, who continues in his role, alongside two new appointees: Ruben Adjahoe and Abdul Hayye Yartey, President of Cheetah FC and Cheetah Beach Soccer Club. Both are widely recognised for their commitment to talent identification and development in local football.
The Committee is mandated to supervise and promote the Ghana Beach Soccer League, focusing on its growth, visibility, and competitiveness on both local and international stages.
