
The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has appointed Samuel Aboabire, Chairman of the Greater Accra Regional Football Association and member of the Executive Council, as Chairman of the Local Organising Committee (LOC) for the upcoming U-15 Boys Inter-Regional Championship.
Mr Aboabire, known for his pivotal role in advancing grassroots football in the Greater Accra Region, will head a three-member committee responsible for the smooth planning and delivery of the tournament, which serves as a key development platform for young talents nationwide.
He will be supported by JoeSalam Abubakar, President of Tema United FC and Chairman of the National Juvenile Committee, who has been named Vice Chairman. Abubakar’s wealth of experience in juvenile football administration will be vital in steering the competition towards its objectives.
The committee is completed by Mohammed Iddi, CEO of Division One League side Tamale City FC, who joins as a member, bringing technical and administrative expertise.
The GFA stressed that the formation of the LOC reaffirms its commitment to investing in youth football and building a strong foundation for future national teams.
