Last season’s MTN FA Cup finalists Golden Kick FC will host Port City on matchday two of the 2025/26 Access Bank Division One League, with both sides entering the fixture on the back of contrasting results from the opening weekend.
Golden Kick suffered a 2-1 defeat to Na God FC, while Port City impressed with a 2-1 victory over FC Nania at Kukurantumi. The home side’s campaign has been unsettled by the departure of key figures, including former head coach Fiifi Parker Hanson, now assistant at Dreams FC, and players such as Baba Adamu (Accra Hearts of Oak), Roland Grippman (FC Samartex), Bless Ege (Karela United), and winger Zakaria Mumuni, who ironically joined Port City.
Elsewhere, FC Nania will battle Attram De Visser at the Nania Park in Legon. Despite losing to Port City last week, Nania remain strong at home, while Attram De Visser, who drew 1-1 with Accra Lions, will aim to secure valuable away points.
On Sunday, former Premier League side Okwahu United face newcomers Great Ambition at the Carl Reindorf Park. Okwahu began with a 1-0 win over WAFA SC, while Great Ambition lost 1-0 to Home Stars.
The round concludes on Monday when Accra Lions host Semper FI at the Tuba Astro Turf.
