Ghanaian defender Henry Oware signs long-term extension with Lommel SK
Lommel SK have confirmed that Ghanaian defender Henry Oware has signed a contract extension that will keep him at the Belgian club until at least mid-2028.The new deal also includes an option for an additional year, underlining the confidence the club has in the 21-year-olds progress.Oware joined Lommel in January 2024 from French side ESTAC Troyes, who had earlier secured his services from Ghanaian outfit WAFA SC.Since arriving in Belgium, he has grown into a key figure, cementing his place in the starting lineup this season and earning praise for his composure and consistency.The defender expressed delight at committing his future to the club.I feel very much at home at this club and I am therefore very happy to be able to extend my contract, Oware said.In a year and a half I have already learned and played a lot here.
