Ghanaian duo Joseph Narbi and Rashidan Yakubu have been named in the Team of the Group Stage at the WAFU U17 Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast.
The Black Starlets captain and defender Yakubu distinguished themselves in the first round of the competition as Ghana progressed to the semi-final.
Narbi and Yakubu make the team alongside four Nigerian players, three from Ivory Coast and one each from Burkina Faso and Niger.
Ghana reached the semis after dismantling Niger 3-1 in their final group game and will face Nigeria for a place at the Africa U17 Cup of Nations.
The Black Starlets have not qualified for the youth tournament since 2017 and will be hoping to secure a place at the competition next year.
The winner of the game between Ghana and Nigeria will advance to the final, where they face either Ivory Coast or Burkina Faso from the other semi-final.
Ghana remains one of the most successful U17 teams in the world, with two World Cups and two African titles.
