The head coach of Heart of Lions, Bashir Hayford, has urged his players to target a win against Asante Kotoko in their next match in the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League.
The gaffer and his team are currently on a three-game winning streak in the new league campaign.
Over the weekend, the team laboured to secure a 1-0 triumph over Bechem United at the Kpando Sports Stadium.
Speaking in his post-match interview, Bashir Hayford admitted that it was a tough contest against the Hunters.
He urged his players to turn their attention to the next Ghana Premier League match against Asante Kotoko and work towards another victory.
“Today’s game was a very tough one. The first one we played at home was tough, but I think this one was tougher. We managed the game very well and we made sure we got the maximum points. We thank God for it, and we worked for it. We will go back and work on the next match,” Bashir Hayford told the Heart of Lions media team.
The Week 4 fixture between Asante Kotoko and Heart of Lions is scheduled to be played on October 5, at Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
