
Heart of Lions midfielder Samuel Boamah has expressed optimism in the team’s chances of winning the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League title.
The midfielder has been a key player for the Kpando-based outfit since the start of the new campaign.
Over the weekend, Samuel Boamah provided the assist for Heart of Lions’ winning goal against Bechem United, ensuring the team made it three wins out of three matches this season.
Speaking in his post-match interview, the midfielder shared his delight with the team’s form, arguing that he believes Heart of Lions have a very good chance of claiming the league title at the end of the season.
“I will thank God for the win. I think we are very excited with the win because, looking at our position on the league table, we have the potential to win the league title,” Boamah said.
Giving his overall assessment of the match, the midfielder admitted that it was a tough encounter against Bechem United. He expressed the view that the desire to win by all means made the difference for his side.
“Today’s opponent was really tough. They were tough compared to the matches we have played so far. Our determination gave us the win, but it was a very tough match,” Boamah added.
After three wins in the first three games, Heart of Lions are currently top of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League standings.
