Ghanaian rap star Sarkodie has pledged that his team will fully adhere to the National Sports Authority’s regulations as preparations continue for this year’s Rapperholic Homecoming concert at the Baba Yara Stadium.
The announcement comes after NSA Director General Yaw Ampofo Ankrah warned that while the stadium could host the concert, the pitch must remain untouched or face penalties.
Responding to the directive, Sarkodie took to X (formerly Twitter) to assure authorities and fans alike of his commitment to compliance.
“The rules were set from day one, and we are not ready to break them,” the award-winning rapper posted on X.

Thousands of fans are expected to converge on Kumasi for the event, with organisers collaborating closely with the NSA to ensure the concert runs smoothly without compromising the stadium’s readiness for upcoming football fixtures.
