
Ransford Gyan registered his seventh goal of the season and also set up countryman Wahabu Musah in Friday’s 3-1 win over California at Historic Riggs Field.
Musah got things started for the Tigers with a goal in the 4th minute assisted by Gyan and Nathan Richmond.
Gyan now has four assists on the year which leads the team.
But the goalscorer was sent off in the last 11 minutes of the match after accumulating yellow cards.
Clemson doubled their lead on 49 minutes after Gyan hit the back of the net with an assist from Duncan Wilson.
The visitors pulled one back in 64th minute but Clemson restored their two-goal lead after Richmond knocked in a goal in the 73rd minute.
