Black Starlets coach Dr Prosper Narteh Ogum has expressed his confidence in the players selected for the 2025 WAFU B U-17 Championship.
Dr Narteh Ogum on Friday, September 19, announced his final 23-man squad for the tournament, which is scheduled to be hosted in Ivory Coast.
“We are confident in the players we have selected," Narteh Ogum told the Ghana FA website.
"They’ve worked hard over the past weeks, and we believe they have what it takes to compete and bring glory to Ghana," he added.
Meanwhile, the Black Starlets will open their campaign with a game against Togo today at the Charles Konan Banny Stadium, with kick-off scheduled for 15:00 GMT.
The Black Starlets are targeting a strong start as they chase qualification for the 2025 U-17 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) through the regional tournament.
