Black Satellites attacking midfielder Amer Michael Mahama has joined French Ligue 2 side USL Dunkerque.
The 19-year-old signed a two-year deal to join the French outfit from Ghanaian lower-tier side Nice Ibrahim, a club owned by Ibrahim Mahama, the brother of President John Mahama.
The talented midfielder is expected to work his way into the first team as he begins his career abroad.
"Our starboy Amer Michael Mahama signs his first professional contract with USL Dunkerque. Big things coming up for the star boy," posted Nice Ibrahim FC, confirming their talismanic midfielder's departure.
Michael Mahama, who featured for Ghana's U20 at the CAF Africa U20 Cup of Nations in Egypt early this year, shared a two-word message after completing the move.
He posted on Instagram: "God did."
The teen sensation was reportedly linked with several clubs in Europe but decided to move to France as he slowly builds a reputation for himself.
Meanwhile, Dunkerque, a club partly owned by former Chelsea and Senegal striker Demba Ba, were held to a 2-2 draw in their Ligue 2 game on Friday.
