Hearts of Oak head coach Didi Dramani is backing his side to bounce back with victory against Dreams FC if they sharpen their decision-making in the final third.
The Phobians were held to a frustrating 0-0 draw by newly promoted Hohoe United in their season opener at the Accra Sports Stadium last Friday, despite dominating large spells of the game.
Speaking ahead of Monday afternoon’s trip to the Nii Adjei Kraku Sports Complex in Tema, Dramani admitted his team did much of the hard work but fell short where it mattered most.
"Once we improve on decision-making in the final third, goalscoring will be resolved," he said. "We do all the difficult parts of the game, moving the ball from our half to the middle, constructing the attacking play and stepping up cleanly in attack, but we need to make it count with better choices in front of goal."
Dreams FC also go into the fixture seeking a response after their narrow 1-0 defeat to Heart of Lions in Kpando on the opening weekend. The “Still Believe” side will count on home support to spark their campaign, while Hearts of Oak will be aiming to record their first win under Dramani this season.
