
Ghana striker Antoine Semenyo has added the Goal of the Month accolade to his Player of the Month award to make it a double at AFC Bournemouth in August.
The 25-year-old received the most votes from fans of Bournemouth to emerge winner of the Goal of the Month for his sensational solo strike against Liverpool.
The Ghanaian, who netted a brace on the opening night of the season against the Reds, saw his second against the Merseyside outfit win the award after he drove through Liverpool's midfielder from deep his own half before firing past Alisson. The goal was also nominated for Goal of the Month in the Premier League but he eventually lost to Liverpool's Dominik Szoboszlai.
Semenyo is enjoying a blistering start to the campaign with the Cherries, having netted three goals and delivered two assists in four Premier League matches.
He has been named in the Team of the Week twice already, making him an early contender for the Team of the Season.
Meanwhile, Semenyo and his teammates are preparing for their upcoming game against Newcastle United on Sunday.
