Ghana defender Tariq Lamptey has been presented to fans of Fiorentina following his summer move.
The 25-year-old joined La Viola on transfer deadline day from English side Brighton and Hove Albion on a four-year deal.
However, his presentation had to be postponed due to the international break, allowing him to join the Black Stars for the games against Chad and Mali early in September.
Even though he made his debut for the club after coming on late in the second half of the match against Napoli, Lamptey was officially unveiled on Wednesday at a press conference.
The Chelsea Academy graduate shared his excitement after completing the move to Florence, stating he is ready for more game time.
"I am very happy to be here. I want to continue to be here at Fiorentina," he said at his presentation. "I want to get to know my teammates better. They welcomed me very well.
"Since my arrival, Dodo has been fantastic. I'm very happy to be here with him. Everyone in pink welcomed me very well.
"I am very happy to be here and I can't wait to play."
Lamptey made over 100 appearances in the Premier League for Chelsea and Brighton before moving to Italy.
