Dreams FC coach Winfred Dormon believes his team will be ready to face the might of Hearts of Oak ahead of their matchday 2 encounter in the Ghana Premier League at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Park.
The Still Believe lads got off to a losing start in the Premier League after suffering defeat at Kpando against Heart of Lions while Hearts of Oak laboured to a goalless draw against newcomers Hohoe United.
Dormon, a former player of Hearts of Oak, was in charged of Dreams when the two sides last met, with the 2023 FA Cup winners securing maximum points.
"Fans who will be witnessing this game will never be disappointed. We can only promise that Dreams FC will play an interesting and exciting football," he told Mo TV.
"The fans who will come will continue to see a Dreams FC team that will play from zone 1, zone 2 and a quick transition to zone 3. And this time we want to improve our conversion ratio. We cannot play very well in Kpando and earn nothing from that game. We expect that when we create the opportunity the final third will be positive," he added.
Speaking about his former club, Dormon stated he has the experience of beating Hearts of Oak.
"This is not the first time I have beaten them as a player and as a coach. We want to promise one thing, the supporters that will come to the Tema Nii Adjei Kraku park will experience exciting football," he said.
The game will be played on Monday, September 22, 2025.
