Ghana Football Association (GFA) President Kurt Okraku has visited the Black Princesses at their camp in Accra to motivate the team ahead of their FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup qualifier against Tunisia.
The Black Princesses will face Tunisia in the first leg on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at the Tayeb Mhiri Stadium in Sfax.
Speaking to the players, Okraku praised their consistency and dominance on the continent, noting that the Princesses remain Ghana’s most reliable national team, having qualified for every edition of the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in the past seven tournaments.
“You’ve always been at the World Cup and showcased your quality,” Okraku said. “This team has the quality to beat any side in Africa. Once you overcome this encounter, any other opponent will be a stepping stone to success. We expect you to qualify for the World Cup, which is our ultimate goal.”
He also urged the players to stay focused, work hard, and seize opportunities to build professional careers, assuring them of the Association’s support.
Executive Council member Eugene Nobel joined the GFA President during the visit.
