The Black Stars of Ghana have moved one place up in the latest FIFA ranking following their recent performance in the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers.
The four-time African champions, having been 76th in back-to-back rankings, have now moved to the 75th position as far as the global ranking is concerned.
This comes after the team recorded a draw and a win against Chad and Mali, respectively, in the Matchday 8 games in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
Despite the improvement in the global ranking, they, however, remain unchanged in the continental ranking.
Ghana sit 14th as far as the ranking of African countries is concerned.
Otto Addo and his charges will hope to improve the team's ranking further when they return to action later in the year.
Meanwhile, the Black Stars will wrap up the year with games against Central African Republic and Comoros in the final round of the World Cup in October.
