Former Ghana international Emmanuel Agyemang Badu believes Kwasi Sibo has the qualities to become a big-name player for the Black Stars.
The Real Oviedo midfielder made his Black Stars debut against Mali in the Matchday 8 games in the 2026 World Cup at the Accra Sports Stadium in the September international window.
Sibo earned praises from many football fans following his excellent performance after Ghana's 1-0 win over the Eagles.
Speaking in an interview, the U-20 World Cup lauds the midfielder, describing him as a player with a lot of promise who can become a game-changer for the senior national team.
“Sibo is a very solid player with a lot of promise,” Agyemand-Badu told Graphic Sports.
“Honestly, he can’t match the power and energy I brought to the team in my time,” he joked, “but he has qualities that suit the modern game.
"I like his composure, ball distribution and discipline. With the right guidance, he can become a big name for the Black Stars," he added.
After his brilliant debut performance, Sibo hopes to secure his stay in the team.
Meanwhile, Sibo, after aiding Real Oviedo to secure La Liga qualification, has become a key player for his club and has so far made three appearances in the ongoing season.
