Bologna have officially unveiled Ghana midfielder Ibrahim Sulemana.
The 22-year-old joined the Red and Blues on a season-long loan deal from rivals Atalanta before the international break and was expected to make his debut against AC Milan at the weekend.
However, his first game for the club had to be delayed after he picked a knock while on international duty with Ghana. He was recalled by Bologna after it was reported he suffered an injury.
On Monday, Bologna presented the player and Jonathan Rowe, another summer signing, at a press conference.
"I am feeling a bit better now. I am still working with the physiotherapist to get back on the pitch sooner to help my teammates and since there is only two weeks left. I am already ready. I am working hard to get back to the pitch and I can't wait to start playing with my teammates," he said during his unveiling when asked about his fitness.
Sulemana also opened up on his qualities and how he can help Bologna in the new campaign.
"My main characteristics are winning the ball back, helping the team defend and making a touch, like they say intersection," he added.
Sulemana is two weeks away from returning to full fitness.
