Ghanaian youngster Taufik Seidu has been named in Atletico Madrid's team for the trip to England to face Liverpool in the UEFA Champions League.
The 18-year-old Ghana-born Spain youth international was included in the 22-man squad for the epic clash at Anfield, travelling with the team on Tuesday.
Seidu could make his debut in the elite competition for the Rojiblancos tonight as he continues to impress manager Diego Simeone.
The teen sensation and his teammates paid tribute to former player Diogo Jota, who died in a car crash in July, following their arrival in England.
Meanwhile, legendary striker Antoine Griezman is excited about the game against the English champions.
"We are excited to get going in the Champions League. It's a competition that excites the players and the fans. Our expectations are high. It's a tough competition but I think we can go far this season," said the veteran forward.
Seidu was promoted to the first team after excelling with the youth set up last season.
