Kwara United captain Kabiru Mohammed has declared his outfit readiness for the upcoming CAF Confederation Cup clash against Asante Kotoko.
The Ghanaian giants will lock horns with their Nigerian counterparts on Sunday, September 21 at the Accra Sports Stadium in the first preliminary round of the competition.
However, the enterprising captain has affirmed his outfit are mentally and physically ready for the Kotoko test.
“We know the match against Asante Kotoko won’t be easy because of the way they play and the home fans support, but we are ready physically and mentally for the game." he said.
Kotoko, whose name is firmly written into the history books of African football, are aiming for a deep run in this season’s competition.
Meanwhile, the Nigerian outfit has set sights on upsetting the Porcupine Warriors as they seek to make a meaningful impact this season.
