Medeama SC goalkeeper Felix Kyei has reiterated the team’s ambition to win the Ghana Premier League title at the end of the 2025/26 season.
The highly-rated shot-stopper was adjudged Man of the Match on Sunday after keeping a clean sheet to help the Tarkwa-based club to secure a 2-0 win against Young Apostles to kick off the new campaign on a positive note.
Speaking in a post-match interview, Felix Kyei indicated that although the ultimate goal is to win the Ghana Premier League title, the team wants to take it one match at a time.
“It was a difficult game, but we came in with the mentality to win. We want to win the Ghana Premier League or the MTN FA Cup at the end of the season. We want to take it match after match. We plead with the supporters to continue backing us, and we won’t disappoint them,” Kyei told journalists.
Up next for Medeama Sporting Club, the team will host Vision FC on matchday 2 of the league campaign.
