Ghanaian forward Bismark Charles opened his account for SK Vllaznia on Saturday, playing a starring role in their emphatic 4-1 home victory against Partizan Tirana in the Albanian top-flight league.
The 24-year-old was a constant menace for the visitors, winning two penalties after being brought down in the box. Both spot-kicks proved decisive, helping Vllaznia first draw level in the 36th minute and later seal their advantage in the 90th minute.
Charles capped his impressive display with a well-taken strike into the roof of the net to round off the scoring. He was directly involved in all four of his side’s goals, also assisting Esin Hakaj with a clever pass that cut through two defenders for the third.
His hold-up play and movement caused persistent problems for the Partizan defence, underlining his growing influence since joining Vllaznia this summer on loan from FK Skënderbeu.
Charles has set his sights on building on this performance as he looks to make a strong impact in the Albanian Superliga this season.
