Italian side Bologna has recalled midfielder Ibrahim Sulemana from Ghana's national team camp due to an injury that has ruled him out of Monday's crucial 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Mali at home.
Sulemana suffered a swollen knee after an awkward twist during training, which forced him to miss Thursday's qualifier against Chad.
The player will depart Accra on Sunday to begin his recovery with the Serie A outfit.
