Ghana’s Constance Agyemang scored to help Texas State fight back for a 1-1 draw with Oklahoma on Thursday at home- the Bobcat Soccer Complex.
The visitors took the lead early on when Hadley Murrell sent as spot kick into the bottom left corner for her first goal of the season.
But Texas State upped the ante and began to hit back at their opponents until it eventually paid off.
Hellen Alormenu threw the ball into Jones, who got just enough of an opening past a defender to send a cross into the box.
Agyemang hit it the first time and the goalkeeper pushed it upwards and off the crossbar.
The keeper grabbed the ball on the rebound but her momentum caused her to fall across the line to surrender the tying goal.
