Midfielder Thomas Partey could miss Black Stars' crucial 2026 World Cup qualifier against Mali on Monday, September 8.
The Villarreal midfielder missed the Matchday 7 game against Chad in N'Djamena due to illness.
In a statement, the GFA said: “Thomas Teye Partey fell ill before the Chad match, Ibrahim Sulemana picked up a knee knock in the final training session in N’Djamena, and Elisha Owusu is ineligible for the Mali game due to accumulated yellow cards.”

Meanwhile, Ibrahim Sulemana is also facing uncertainty after sustaining a knee injury during the team’s final training session in N’Djamena.
Adding to coach Otto Addo’s concerns, Elisha Owusu will miss the encounter due to suspension after accumulating yellow cards.
Meanwhile, Real Oviedo midfielder Kwasi Sibo has been handed a call-up ahead of the game against The Eagles at the Accra Sports Stadium with kick-off scheduled at 19:00 GMT.
