Watford fans left Vicarage Road with mixed feelings after watching their side draw 2-2 with Southampton in a tense Championship clash.
The game had drama, late goals, and a big moment for Ghanaian forward Kwadwo Baah.
Southampton took an early lead when Cameron Archer found the net in the 10th minute. Watford struggled to respond in the first half and went into the break a goal down. Manager Tom Cleverley turned to his bench, introducing Baah in the 57th minute, and the change lifted the home side.
Just eight minutes later, Baah struck. Racing onto a clever through ball from Rocco Vata, the 22-year-old kept his composure and drilled his shot into the bottom corner, sending the crowd into loud celebration. His energy shifted the mood, but Southampton hit back when Ryan Manning curled in a free kick on 78 minutes.
Watford refused to fold. Youngster Nestory Irankunda delivered a brilliant free kick in the 81st minute to rescue a point.
Watford now look ahead to Blackburn on September 13.
