Leicester City manager Martà Cifuentes has praised Abdul Fatawu Issahaku for his decisive strike against Charlton Athletic over the weekend.
After back-to-back defeats, the Foxes made a return to winning ways with a hard-fought 1-0 win against Charlton at the Valley Stadium.
Fatawu Issahaku's stunning curler in the 48th minute was enough for Leicester to make a return to winning ways.
Speaking to the club's media, Cifuentes lauded the qualities of the Ghana international and further described him as a key player for his side.
"I trust his quality," the Spanish gaffer said. "It was a fantastic goal that summarises very well what Abdul means for us.
"He has an extreme quality in the last third," he added.
Fatawu Issahaku will hope to maintain his impressive start when Leicester City host Birmingham City at the King Power Stadium this weekend in the English Skybet Championship.
Meanwhile, the 20-year-old is expected to be named in Black Stars squad for the Matchday 7 and 8 games of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Chad and Mali next month.
