
Ghana international Antoine Semenyo is among the players nominated for the 2025/26 English Premier League Player of the Week at the end of Round 1.
The Black Stars striker was in action for AFC Bournemouth last Friday when the team faced Liverpool in the opening fixture of the new season.
In the tough clash against the defending champions at Anfield, Antoine Semenyo starred for his team, scoring a brace in the second half.
After his top performance in Bournemouth’s 4-2 defeat to Liverpool, the forward has now been shortlisted for the Player of the Week.
He is among other players who excelled in Round 1 of the English Premier League, including Dan Ballard, Hugo Ekitike, Erling Haaland, David Raya, Tijjani Reijnders, Richarlison, and Chris Wood.
