Ghana international Ransford Yeboah-Königsdörffer is currently undergoing a further medical at OGC Nice amid issues regarding initial test.
The Black Stars attacker has agreed personal terms with the French Ligue 1 outfit ahead of the proposed â¬6m move in the ongoing summer transfer window.
With both clubs finalizing a move upon agreement of the transfer fee, the Ghana international had moved closer to joining the French outfit from Hamburger SV.
However, his move has been thrown into doubt as an unspecified issue was detected during his previous medical at Nice. The move will eventually collapse should the Ghana international fail his second medical test.
Meanwhile, Nice hope to seal the deal to get the Ghana international attacker registered for the preliminary round of the UEFA Champions League.
The forward would provide competition for Nigerian forward Terem Moffi, with Evann Guessand still expected to depart between now and the closure of the transfer window.
Yeboah was a standout performer for German outfit Hamburger SV last season, racking up crucial goals to help the club secure promotion to the top-flight.
The 23-year-old forward has been in the books of Hamburger SV since 2022 and has established himself as a key member of the team. Last season, the attacker netted 14 goals in the Bundesliga 2 for Hamburg.
