New Hearts of Oak defender delighted to make 'dream come true' move
Defender Baba Adamu has described his move to Hearts of Oak as a dream come true switch.The 21-year-old signed a two-year deal to join the Phobians from Division One side Golden Kick FC.Adamu, a long-time supporter of the club, shared his excitement after sealing the deal and believes his time at the club will be a successful one.I grew up supporting the club. And to top it up, my father is a staunch Phobian. To me, joining this club is a dream come true, which i will forever cherish. I know the huge challenge here, but I am sure with the guidance I will receive here, I will be successful because that's the big aim, he said after concluding the move.The towering guardsman is expected to play a pivotal role at the club in the upcoming season as the Ghanaian giants eye domestic success.Adamu was one of Golden Kicks best players in their historic FA Cup run last season. He inspired the lower-tier side to the final of the competition, where they lost to Asante Kotoko in the final.The centre-back will join his new teammates for pre-season as Mas Ud Didi Dramani builds a competitive squad.
