Ghanaian defender Rashid Alhassan joins FK Trepça Mitrovicë in Kosovo
Former Medeama SC, Karela United, and RTU left-back Rashid Alhassan has completed a move to Kosovo topflight side FK Trepa Mitrovic, signing a one-year contract with the club.The experienced Ghanaian defender, who last featured for Nigerian Premier League outfit Kano Pillars, makes the move as he looks to relaunch his career in Europe.Rashid brings with him years of Ghana Premier League experience and continental exposure, having previously played in CAF inter-club competitions with Medeama.His versatility and defensive discipline are expected to strengthen Trepas backline ahead of the upcoming season.The 25-year-olds move to Kosovo marks another step in his professional journey, and he becomes the latest Ghanaian player to secure a deal in Europe ahead of the 2025/26 campaign.
