Mohammed Kudus to have Tottenham Hotspur today ahead of move from West Ham

The North London club agreed a fee worth55 million on Wednesday to sign the 24-year-old from West Ham United.Kudus will sign a six-year dealonce the medical is completed.The former Ajax starhas been keen on the move to Tottenham despite strong interest from Chelsea.Spurs had an initial 50 million bid turned down but returned with an improved offer that was accepted.Kudus current contract with West Ham, which runs until 2028, contains a release clause active only during the first 10 days of July, set at 80 million for clubs outside England, 85 million for Premier League sides, and 120 million for teams from Saudi Arabia.The former FC Nordsjaelland and Right to Dream Academy forward joined West Ham from Ajax in 2023 for 38m. He scored eight goals and provided nine assists in his first season across all competitions.Last season, he played 35 league matches, registering five goals and four assists.As Tottenham prepare to compete in the Champions League next season, Kudus is expected to play a crucial role for the side having tasted the competition while playing for Ajax.
