Abdul Iddrisu: Former Bechem United goalkeeper raises funds for Nakwabi Orphanage through charity match
Former Bechem United goalkeeper Abdul Iddrisu has organized a charity football match aimed at raising funds to support the Nakwabi Orphanage Home in the Sawla District of the Savannah Region.The initiative, led by the current Ethio Electric SC shot stopper, saw proceeds from the event donated to the orphanage on Sunday.The presentation was done personally by Iddrisu, who made the trip back home from Ethiopia to give back to his community.The charity game brought together local football talents and supporters, all in a bid to raise awareness and offer material and financial support to the vulnerable children at the orphanage.The 2024/25 Ethiopian Premier League goalkeeper, who left Ghana after spells with Bechem United and Real Tamale United, continues to inspire off the pitch with his philanthropic work.
